Jesús enseña a los discípulos a orar
“No os preocupéis por nada, sino presentad siempre a Dios vuestras peticiones mediante oración y súplica, con acción de gracias.” (Filipenses 4:6)

Presentar nuestras peticiones a Dios
Cuando oramos, debemos presentar nuestras peticiones a Dios. Esto no significa que solo debemos orar por lo que queremos. También debemos orar por lo que Dios quiere para nosotros. Debemos orar por su voluntad, no por la nuestra.
Cuando oramos por la voluntad de Dios, estamos demostrando que confiamos en Él y que queremos lo que Él quiere para nosotros. También estamos demostrando que creemos que Él sabe lo que es mejor para nosotros.
Orar con acción de gracias
Cuando oramos, debemos hacerlo con acción de gracias. Debemos agradecer a Dios por todo lo que ha hecho por nosotros. Debemos agradecerle por su amor, su gracia y su misericordia.
Orar con acción de gracias nos ayuda a desarrollar una actitud de gratitud. También nos ayuda a recordar todas las cosas buenas que Dios ha hecho por nosotros.

En el huerto de Getsemaní, Jesús oró: “Padre mío, si es posible, pase de mí esta copa; pero no sea como yo quiero, sino como tú.” (Mateo 26:39). La entrega también nos ayuda a desarrollar una relación más profunda con Dios. Cuando nos rendimos a su voluntad, estamos diciendo esencialmente: “Confío en ti, Dios. Gratitud
